We partnered with the Division of Student Affairs at Sacramento State University to create a comprehensive series of marketing and communications guides designed to empower staff across multiple departments. These guides helped staff understand how to effectively use the university’s Brand Guide and maintain a consistent visual and messaging identity across all Student Affairs materials.
The project included a range of resources—from marketing and graphic design best practices to ready-to-use templates and tools for promoting events and programs to students. We also developed guides focused on communications, photography, and videography, offering practical advice on writing content that connects with students, selecting the right visuals, and capturing authentic moments on campus.
Together, these materials provided Student Affairs staff with clear, accessible tools to tell their stories more effectively, strengthen the Sacramento State brand, and better engage the student community.
